Halloween is celebrated at many of the Disney Parks. The event can start as early as August in some parks. Guests can experience Halloween in so many ways at the parks.
Firstly there is so much Halloween merchandise that guests can purchase. There are character plushies, mugs, pins, bags, ears as well as edible treats.

Secondly there are the Halloween themed parties. For example at Disney World the party evenings are called ‘Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party’. At these parties there are exclusive shows, parades and characters. There are also edible treats and exclusive merchandise. At these parties guests are also able to go ‘trick or treating’ around the parks.

Thirdly there are so many decorations around the parks. You will find decorations in many parts of the parks from Mickey pumpkins to bunting.

During the Halloween season some of the rides get Halloween overlays. These overlays can include Halloween lighting as well as live actors.

Disneyland does a lot to celebrate Halloween. At this resort during the Halloween season there is the Oogie Boogie Bash, which is an evening event on select nights, where guests can stay in the park after hours. At the Oogie Boogie Bash there are treat trails where guests can collect lots of sweets! There is a special parade, where guests can see the classic characters dressed up for Halloween, such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Guests will also get to see the villains on the parade. Also during this event there is Villians Grove, which is a section of the park inspired by the villains, which has special effects as well as spooky scenes.

During the day guests can see the many Halloween decorations throughout the parks. The Haunted Mansion attraction is taken over by Jack Skellington and has special decorations. There is a nighttime show on the castle especially for Halloween, which has special effects, projections as well as fireworks, this show happens on select nights. During the Halloween season there are specially themed edible treats for guests to buy, as well as Halloween merchandise. This resort also celebrates ‘the day of the dead’ with the characters from the film Coco.
Disney World
Disney World does a lot to celebrate the Halloween season. There is a specially themed evening event called Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. At this party guests can go trick or treating around the Magic Kingdom. There is a special parade called Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, which features classic characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the Hitchhiking Ghosts normally found at the Haunted Mansion as well as the Disney villains. The Sanderson Sisters put on a special show infront of the castle called Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular. At this event there is a special fireworks show called Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, which includes special effects and lighting on the castle as well as fireworks, this show is hosted by Jack Skellington.

Also at this event guests can get the chance to meet rare characters and experience ride overlays, that have a special Halloween theme. During this event there are dance parties, where guests can dance with some of the characters.

During the day guests are able to buy Halloween themed edible treats. There is also special merchandise for the Halloween season and some themed dining to experience.
Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is another resort which celebrates the Halloween season. This resort calls their Halloween season the Disney Halloween Festival. During this time the park has many Halloween decorations, including Mickey pumpkins and ghosts. Guests get the chance to meet characters in their Halloween outfits as well as some of the Disney villians. At this resort there are Halloween shows for the guests to enjoy as well as a parade. There are also Halloween themed edible treats for guests to purchase. During this season there is a wide range of Halloween merchandise available to buy.
