There are many ways you can still be helping the environment whilst you are on your Disney trip.

Firstly recycling your rubbish. There are recycling bins at certain guests locations including the theme parks, hotels, Disney Springs and the water parks, meaning you can recycle your rubbish rather than put it in general waste.

Disney merchandise has over 200 items made with 50% recycled materials, so when you choose which gift to buy, maybe you could consider how environmentally friendly it is.

The reusable mug is a great way to help the environment. This is often included in the Disney dining plan, which you can sometimes get for free. You are then able to keep refilling your mug throughout your stay at the hotels.

Reusable bags are a great way to help the environment. Disney have reusable bags available in their shops or you can bring your own. This will then reduce the amount of plastic that is used.

Plant based options at restaurants and festivals can help the planet. Disney has many restaurants where you can order plant based meals and snacks.

Turning off lights and the tv in your hotel room will make a contribution to helping the environment. If you don’t need them on, then turn them off.

Reusing towels in the hotel room, helps the planet as there will be less wash loads carried out.

Being aware of water usage is really important to help the planet. Taking showers instead of baths can save water. Ensuring taps are properly turned off is important.
