Is it your first visit to Disneyland Paris? Check out this useful guide so you can make the most out of your trip.

Firstly there are two parks at this resort. If you have already visited other Disney resorts around the world, you will know the amount of parks each location has is different, take for instance Disney World has four parks and two water parks. At Disneyland Paris the two parks are the Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. There is also a shopping location called Disney Village where there are also restaurants and PanoraMagique, which is a tied down hot air balloon on Lake Disney. This area has recently undergone a refurbishment and is still in the process of updating certain areas.

There are six hotels owned by Disney on property. You have the two cheapest options which are Hotel Santa Fe and Hotel Cheyenne. Hotel Santa Fe is based on an American south west style and is also heavily themed to the film Cars. Hotel Cheyenne is based on the wild west and has a lot of theming based around Toy Story. Both of these hotels are around a twenty minute walk to the parks, or you can take the free shuttle bus which comes quite frequently.

The next hotel at Disneyland Paris is Hotel New York- Art of Marvel. This hotel is based on a New York style with lots of theming based around Marvel. This is one of three hotels built around Lake Disney. This hotel is situated at the back of Disney Village. The next hotel is Sequoia Lodge, this is another hotel built around Lake Disney and is based on a forest feel, with theming to the film Bambi. Due to it being on the opposite side of the lake to Disney Village, it is a fifteen minute walk to the parks.

The Second most expensive hotel on Disney property at this resort is Hotel Newport Bay. This hotel is based on a New England-style with Mickey and Minnie theming and nautical themed rooms. This hotel is also a fifteen minute walk to the parks and is built around Lake Disney. Finally the most expensive hotel on Disney property is the Disneyland Hotel. This hotel is at the entrance to the parks. It is a regal setting, inspired by many Disney stories. There is a lot of theming based on the Disney Princesses.

The main park called the Disneyland Park has the classic Main Street U.S.A, with shops and places to eat, as well as the Disneyland Railroad. You will also find Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at the end of Main Street U.S.A. From here there are four lands. Firstly if you go through the castle you will enter Fantasyland. (My favourite land!) In this land you will find rides such as Lancelot Carousel, It’s a Small World and Dumbo. To the right of this land (if you are looking from the entrance to the castle) is Discoveryland. In this land you will find Astro Orbitor, Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

On the opposite side of the park there is Frontierland, where you will find Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor and the Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. The final land next to Frontierland is Adventureland. In this land you will find Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril and La Cabane des Robinson (treehouse).

The other park at Disneyland Paris is Walt Disney Studios Park. This park is based on the making of films. There are three main buildings called Studio 1, 2 and 3. As you enter the park it is called Front Lot, where guests can meet characters and explore the shop. There are several different sections in this park, firstly there is Worlds of Pixar, where guests will find Toy Storyland where you will find three rides themed to Toy Story. Also in that location there is a Ratatouille area where you will find a well themed restaurant, shop and immersive ride. There is also two Cars themed rides and a Finding Nemo rollacoaster.

There is a Marvel Avengers Campus, where you will find two rides. Another area in this park is Production Courtyard, where guests can experience the Hollywood Tower of Terror. This park is currently under construction, where they are adding a Frozen area.

There you have an overview of Disneyland Paris and what you will find there. Let me know how you find your experience.
